This 1977 advertisement for a gent’s coat crams a ton of hot-button adjectives into one brief paragraph: “Pure cashmere, one of the riches of the East.  Zephyr soft.  Silken smooth.  Graham & Gunn tailors this fabled fabric befittingly in an outercoat with a natural mobility of line and a largesse of painstaking needlework.”

Isn’t that a funny line? Made me think of embroidered 1700s waistcoats – certainly not a twentieth century one!
